Well, well, well. The time has ultimately come to watch how Washington would throw a $150+ million dollar party on Tuesday January 20th at 11:30 ET.
But, rather than being there in person and bearing the cold climate in D.C. most of us would prefer to play it safe and rest in the comfort of our warm homes and in front of our TVs and LCD screens and computer monitors.
Now, you have hordes of facilities to watch the inaugural show online using several online applications.
1. Get to see the part from the Oval Office organisers themselves at the Joint Congressional Committee on Inaugural Ceremonies. The video is streamed through the entire occassion with closed captioning. You also get to see from their library of earlier Inaugural functions and that includes the recipe for Obama’s luncheon(which is a pheasant and duck served with sour cherry chutney, and other culinary items for which you can get recipes here).
2. Facebook has found itself a reliable partner in CNN to serve live straming of the speech delivered by Obama at the swearing-in ocassion. A Facebook windows on CNN.com’s Live channel will aggregate your friends’ related status updates.
3. Get to see more of the live stream on ABC News
4. Wish to see the coverage on an iPhone? Point your browser to Ustream.tv to download an application that help you to stream the event live on the device.
5. Latinos can watch the inauguration in English and as well as in Spanish.
