Blogging at times appears laborious because it involves researching and penning valuable information like I do.
And after posting a pillar article and submitting it to Social Bookmarking sites, you wait for visitors to flow in. Your work should not stop there and you need to inform major search engines that you have posted an interesting article which will be a key to many of the readers. But, how do you do that? How do you let the search engines and popular blog directories know? One way is to Ping them all as soon as you posted.
I post an article and ping essential services using the WordPress XML-RPC interface. This kind of pinging does send in notifications to the services informing that Team Nirvana has been updated now, so take some time off and index this content. Other than this, I use one more service which I wish you too would take a note of for your further perusal.

Use Ping-O-Matic services. It’s as easy as it appears to be. Just enter your blog URL and hit enter. Your blog is submitted to multiple ping sites like Weblogs, Blo.gs, Technorati, FeedBurner and tens of others.

And, in order to save your time, You can just bookmark the URL in the address bar after you have submitted and use it whenever you post on your blog and wish to submit the updated post to multiple sites.
I hope this service would be used by one and all. Do share with us any of the ping services you use.
