Internet surfers always do come across something interesting which they would wish to share or preserve for later use. Like we could come across an interesting article which we would like to read for later or use it to share with likeminded people. What would the natural reaction be? Basically we copy the text and save it in a notepad or pump up the mail accounts and send the link or draft the link for checking it out later. And how many times haven’t we forgotten totally about it and then when the need comes we search for it like Bond. Put all these aside. EverNote has launched up its free subscriptions and there is no more catch of being invited by a member. You can create an account in EverNote for free.
Now, EverNote has come up with a Free Subscriptions and as well as the Premium Ones. For a basic user, free account is quite enough as you can create and save notes for free, you can just copy the contents of a webpage as it is and save for reading it later, with all the images on the page too. An advanced image search is optimized for all and another interesting feature is EverNote can now read text in the images too. So, no more fretting when you are searching for a graffiti or a wallpaper you have uploaded. Just type in the website name you have saved the image from and pronto, you will get it. Free Users can upload a content of 40 MB per month.
The Premium Subscription would come with a whopping 500 MB monthly, robust security through SSL, advanced image recognition and enhanced technical support team. Premium, as it means, you have to pay and you would need to pay a paltry payment of 5$ per month or $45 per year. That sounds great for all the space. You can signup for now and claim a free t-shirt with the brand name from American Apparel.
Now, with the FireFox 3 plug-in you can just select the text and click the EverNote Web Clipper to save it in your account automatically. So, now no need to copy those entire webpages and store them on Word or mail them for reading later. When you come across an interesting blog(like this one), or a recipe or information about a product, or a travel destination, all you need to do is, select the text, right click on it and select the Web Clippers to save it easily.
