Have you ever come across a situation when you just wanted to check a mail quickly, that you were waiting for and you need to hurry after checking it. You don’t have time for the Windows XP to boot up and load all the required drivers. How to install Presto
- Agree to the Beta terms and download the Presto Beta software using the link above.
- Double-click on the Presto file you downloaded to start the installation wizard.
- Follow the wizard instructions. Presto installs in C:\Presto by default.
- When installation is complete (this takes several minutes), restart your computer.
- When your computer restarts, select Xandros Presto from the Windows boot menu that appears. (If you make no selection, Windows starts by default after 30 seconds.)
That’s it fellas. There you have a swanky new operating system which waits in the boot sequence menu as a dual boot and as an alternate for your previous Windows Operating system. So, how does the desktop look like?

The retail version of Presto will be available as a free Beta download on March 16, 2009.
If you hurry now, you can signup for a beta version which you can download when they send you a link to it.
