Digg, a social bookmarking application is on the verge to release on official toolbar which is very much similar to the StumbleUpon’s toolbar which enables the readers to bury or digg(they both mean the same, don’t they?) the article. As StumbleUpon terms it as “ThumbsUp” and “ThumbsDown” to promote and demote an article respectively, so does Digg’s “Digg” and “Bury”.
This is how StumbleUpon’s toolbar looks like :
So, you click the
to promote the web page you are viewing and increase its publicity and you click the
to bring it down, that is, remove it from other stumbler’s eyes.
Similarly, watch the Digg’s toolbar which is not browser specific, but gets displayed as an iframe on the webpage and you can click X to close it and you can Digg your favourite article or bury it.
The other provision provided by this toolar is, you can share the shortened URLs which you create using the toolbar itself. The URL starts with digg.com, so that you can share it using email, Twitter and anyother service. Sounds like this works similar to Shuurl, minus the security.
Well, you can not just pump your browser and hit Digg.com to download the toolbar as this is not for the general public and it had not been confirmed yet. So, keep your fingers crossed as you may get to see it in the time to come.

Thank you for the information. Similarly, watch the Digg’s toolbar which is not browser specific, but gets displayed as an iframe on the webpage and you can click X to close it and you can Digg your favourite article or bury it.
