Indian Voter Online Registration-Jaagore-Wake Up India

India, as most of the countries around the world, provides a facility for an 18 year old adult to vote for his/her political party which they feel would fit the bill and govern the people and drive the nation in a formidable manner. As India is one of the Democratic Countries, people have the right to choose their leader and this is a facility which some Non-Democratic Countries like China, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, North Korea, Vietnam do not provide for its citizens and the people there live under the hood of a monarchy or single party governments where there is no choice, but just oppression exists. Rather than being elated over the facility that We, Indians are provided with, Have we ever thought of registering our names in the Electoral process and Vote for the right leader? The apt answer that We could hear very loudly is, NO.

We got time to watch movies, we got time to gossip in the college canteens, We got time to smoke cigarettes in friends’ room, We got time to eve tease girls(by boys) and boys(by girls, yes, it is mutual), We got time to listen and hum our fav songs on an iPod or our mobiles, but, Do we have the time to register our names and get a voter identity?

So, being an Indian, are you using the Right To Vote? Yes? That’s good.

No, then you need to realise the importance of the voting system and let go of the laziness you have and vote for the right person, so that no other person votes on behalf of you and selects the wrong person. If you do not have a Voter Card, then this would be the right time to get one done. It is not hard as you have imagined it to be. Now, as you are reading this, you can break the reading right now and click on the links that We have provided in the next paragraph to register for the voter card online and get it done by just entering your details. Yes, it is that easy. No need to stand in ques and pain your legs.

The links where you can register for a Voter Card online are:

1. Election Commission of India

2. Jaagore, Wake Up India.

Lemme de-brief on a private campaign started by TATA Tea by the name Jaagore(which means, “Wake Up” in English).

jaagore-8

JaagoRe is a private campaign being funded by the TATA Group of Companies with an aim of registering at the least of One Billion voters through their perseverant motto and educate all the citizens of India to use the right to vote accordingly and justly. The campaign had started with a tremendous success and had been able to register nearly 70,000 people online within a very short period and this number is rising constantly and consistently.

In a constant endeavor to demonstrate thought leadership, Tata Tea launched the Jaago Re campaign last year in line with their vision to transform tea from being just a wake up drink to a medium of social awakening. The Jaago Re initiative was taken forward this year by the recently launched ‘Jaago Re One Billion Votes Campaign’.

Jaagore.com is a well designed site which greets you as the page loads and asks whether you are a new visitor or an old visitor revisting them.

We are indians where gods were dwellling, we indians can do anything. Whatever we think we can do. Nothing is impossible for us. I am proud that i am indian but many times feel shamed that being an indian and child of motherland living such a weak life. We indians have such a power ( mental and physical ) that only 50 indians ( who loves our country and can even face death without fear ) can change the world.

I challenge that no country in the world has such willpower. I only wants you to co-operate in this movement don’t afraid of anything and I promise you that I am the first who will stand in this movement and will be the first among you to face whatever hindrance will appear.

Well that's fine! but even after this all, it is not good that we dont have online voting system available in India. Many Indians live out of country for their work…jobs. We feel very sorry that we can't vote!
