Forgetting to water the plants daily? Forgetting to feed your GoldFish? Forgetting to wash the baby’s dirty linen daily? Forgetting to clean the car’s bumper weekly? Got a loose curve over taking the medicine once every 5 days? And the list goes on and on over what you forget on a routine basis… Then you are to be hassled. Check this out at http://hassleme.co.uk/

How true, indeed? Came across a vivid tool which sends out reminders to you on a priorly mentioned basis if you set it that way. You can choose the time options over what time period you wish to be hassled, and this tool keeps on sending mails to you reminding or hassling you to do that task in the time mentioned by you.

Easy to setup, isn’t it? Your email would also consist of an un-subscribe link so that you can unsubscribe from these kind of mails when you are sure that there is no more help required and you remember the chores perfectly. Have a look at what the people around the world are getting hassled about on a periodical basis.

Sounds reasonable, huh? Now, you have a glimpse of what kind of reminders can be set. So, use it and do not forget to save your cat from the pool everytime after you both bathe together. Get Hassled.

Share with us if you do use services similar to this kind.

Team Nirvana is a blog which represents a stage where I let people be aware of what they can learn more from the tools already present and how they can optimize the tools and applications which are scattered and lying around the World Wide Web. I inform the readers of the better services and features provided by these applications. These applications, in the sense, which caters to the needs of the people and by comparing the products and apps, I tend to make you choose a better one rather than living and playing with a not-so-advanced-app.

Today, I would like to provide a collection of tools which can be used to check and the traffic of your site or blog and other options like:

Where the traffic is originating from?

What are the keywords used to arrive at your site from a search engine?

How long is the traffic staying on your site?

Where is the traffic leaving to after checking your site?

Which site is referring you?

Where are your backlinks originating from?

What is the percentage of traffic coming from search engines(also known as Organic Traffic)?

Which country viewers are the most active?

Which page is getting the most number of visits?

Well, those are some of the important questions which you need an answer to and very detailed specs are provided to the end-user by many applications. But, one important thing is that, not a single application can provide complete details like these and at times you end up using 2 or 3 applications and at the end of the month or 3 months, you need to check all the statistics and correct yourself or emphasize yourself at a source. Now, lets know what are the different sites which provide you applications to track your progress in the sense of your website or blog.

Google Analytics

Woopra

StatBrain

StatCounter

Have A Mint(Yes, that is actually a site name )

Fox Metrics

Crazy Egg(Can find out what your visitors are clicking and reading through their Heat Maps)

HiStats

SemRush

ExtremeTracking

Some exclusive services like Heat Map have to be paid for. But, if you wish to track what the readers are checking on your web site, then it is advisable to go to the extra length and utilize this service.

Share any analytics tool which you consider would be a good addition here and suggest any new feature you have used.

No, you do not need to crack them really.

You just need to go to command line options of WinRar and extract the RAR files which have the same password.

At times, you download so many RAR/Zip files from a single site and as some sites do password protect their files with the same kind of password, it becomes a pain in the a$$ to provide the same password to so many files that you have downloaded in a just a small time. The extraction takes more time than the time it required to download and sort those rar files. What we offer now is a quick solution for this kind of problem.

1. Go to command line by using Start->Run->Type ‘cmd’.

2. Press Enter. Now set the path to the Winrar installation directory in the environment variables by using SET PATH or if you are unaware of how to do so, there is another alternative to Set The Path as an Environment Variable in Windows XP and Windows 2000.

3. Now, drive yourself to the directory where your rar files are resting and How to Do that? Read the following steps.

So, if your files exist in X drive and in a folder named ‘Archives’, just navigate to that particular folder in command prompt using the following commands:

If you are in C: drive, and wish to navigate to some other drive, lets say X, then at C:\<some directory> type X: and press enter.

You will be taken to X:\> drive where your archived folder is. Now, Go to that particular folder where you have the password protected Rar files. How to go to that particular folder? Read next step.

So, you are in X:\> drive, now type “cd <rar files dir name>” without quotes and without < and >. And press Enter

Now, you are in the folder where all your rar files are.

4. Now, type the following command at the command prompt: unrar x -ppassword *.rar

As an example, I have created the two archived and password protected files and they are placed in a folder named “RarTest” in G: drive.

Now, after navigating to the folder, I type the command like this(Note: The password of these two files is ‘nirvana’) and Press Enter

And voila, the password being similar to both the archived files, gets applied while unraring.

5. The ‘x’ command instructs Winrar to extract the files in their respective(that is their own) folders, that is, a
directory for every rar file present.

6. The ‘-p’ switch(in the -ppassword) confirms WinRAR to use the same password.

7. Note: -ppassword is a single command. No spaces in between ‘-p’ and ‘password’. This password is your actual password to the archived files.

8. Then, at last, *.rar says to select all RAR files that are present in the same folder.

Sounds a bit difficult. But, its quite easy.

Try it and do let us know.
