Lots of times you might have wondered where and how to find your system’s detailed information about CPU Model, its code name, the package it belongs to and even the technology used in designing the model. Well, a lot of information is not what we are looking out for, but just simple details like the graphics card model, RAM memory cards, CPU speed and other info like bus speed and cache memory.

Why do we need all these details? We might be trying to upgrade our firmware and other versions of the application software. Lets find out how we can find out all this information from a single piece of application which is light weight and more over free to download and use.

There is a tiny application at CPUID which assists in finding out all this information with just a click of the button. Aptly named CPU-Z.

Check out this video to see how I can find out the detailed information of my system.

Are your friends scattered around the world and is it getting hard for you to stay in touch with them through the social networking sites like Facebook, Twitter and a ton of others? You find it hard to convey a message by writing on his/her wall, or sending a mail or scrapping them and feel restless until you get a reply? How hard does it seem to be to trace out your friends location and surprise him or her on their birthday? If you wince by looking at at least one of these questions, then this information is just for you.

Mobile phones have actually reduced the distances between people and made the communication process much faster than how it was at the time of conventional landline phones. And now, hastening the process again, a tiny software, with its immense power transforms the manner in which You and Me communicate with others around us and in our network.

I had always felt the need to call my friends who stay abroad whenever I feel like. Having a postpaid connection does provide you that kind of freedom, but at HUGE costs in the form of ISD bills. What would I do to avoid them? I would switch on my PC, look out if any one is there online. If there, chat with them. If not, send a mail or scrap or write or tweet and again await the replies. Painstaking and slow.

Now, avoiding all these, I chose to use Nimbuzz. Nimbuzz is an application which assists you to communicate with people on your list instantly. You can do all the above said things like chatting, tweeting and others. In addition to that, you can even call your friends using this application. And that too at peanuts. Price effective and time saving. Nimbuzz uses internet VoIP to enable the communication between two parties and at times among the conference calls.

In order to make use of the long distance calling feature, you need to purchase Nimbuzz credits and use the Nimbuzz Out. The prices at which the credits are available will make the ‘long-distance-call’ fanatics very happy

You can install the Nimbuzz software on a Symbian supported phone and as well as iPhones. Here is an excerpt from their website:

NimbuzzOut is available for Nokia Symbian S60 3rd and 5th edition, Windows Mobile, iPhone and iPod Touch devices. Check on www.nokia.com if your Nokia contains the S60 3rd or 5th edition operating system (Choose your handset > Check specifications > Check Software).

NimbuzzOut is also supported on Nimbuzz for PC.

We will support NimbuzzOut on more mobile phones and Mac computers in the near future.

Once Nimbuzz is on your mobile or your PC, you can purchase the credits and make the international calls at a meager sums of $0.020/min from India to USA. Well, the figure is quite lower than what I pay to my mobile service provider.

The credits purchased from Nimbuzz are valid for a period of 6 months.

Head over and try the services of Nimbuzz.

Gaming Consoles mostly handhelds like Sony PSP, Gizmondo, Dingoo, Apple iPhone/iPod Touch/iPad, Nintendo DS and others are extremely famous these days and their popularity ever rises with the new versions of the gaming handhelds being released with all the updates and latest additions. The wide array of handhelds do support video formats like MP4, AVI and others to be played on them. These huge video files are usually saved on a Memory Card and inserted into the gaming console in order to play the video and audio file.

Lets discuss on how to convert videos for Sony PlayStation Portable(PSP) which supports MP4 format for video playback. Sony announced the arrival of PSP during E3 2003 and brought into the market on May 11th, 2004. Sony PSP attained the foremost sales and recognition because it was the first handheld video game console to use an optical disc format, Universal Media Disc(UMD) which is the primary storage medium.

Sony PSP supports (MPEG-4, H.264) video format which can be playable on Windows and as well as a Mac. I have tried several video converting tools which promised the sky to provide the desired video format with excellent or else a feasible audio solution. But, none of it helped with at most perfection as one tool which did. And this application is entirely free for use.

PSP Video 9 is a free PSP video converter that converts video files, YouTube videos, movies and DVD’s so you can play them on your PSP. The software can convert all types of video files (avi, divx, xvid, flv, x264, vob, mpeg, DVD’s, YouTube, etc.) into the proper video formats (MPEG-4, H.264) that play on the PSP. It is available for Windows and Mac.

You can download the latest version of PSP Video 9 v 5.04 from

Share with us any video/audio conversion tools which you use in order to achieve the video format supported by Sony PSPs.

It’s hard to clean the system when you have so many duplicate files. You lovingly download a file from a site or you download images from your camera or mobile phone or songs from multimedia devices and again you do the same process twice or thrice. Then you have nothing but duplicate files in your system which eat up so much of hard disk space without any real purpose. And add to that, if the files are of different names, but the same content, it’s hard to detect them. So, what do I do at this time?

I prefer using Auslogics Duplicate File Finder 1.5 for Windows which is free to download and use.

Most people are unaware of how many duplicate files there are cluttering their hard disks. All those songs that have been downloaded twice, holiday photos uploaded multiple times, documents copied and pasted, so that you have them in two folders at once!

I would like to know if you have any tools which you use in order to perform the same operation.

If your system has virtually thousands and thousands of files and searching through all of them for a small thing which you have misplaced is a horrendous task. Rather than sticking with the default searches provided with Windows Operating Systems, Team Nirvana suggests you to use a light weight and the fastest file searcher ever.

What’s that?

It’s Everything from VoidTools.

It’s a very small application of 350 KB approximately. Indexes the files on your hard disk on the fly and makes the search lighting fast.

Do try it.
